	Congratulations to Morgan Rinehart for verbally committing to The George Washington University!

	Whitney Burks, a 2014 high school softball recruit, verbally committed to go through the admissions process at Stanford University to play softball.
	Stars survived the cold weather in St Louis. The Stars went 5 – 0 for the weekend. The Stars allowed 8 runs, scoring 29 runs. The team belted six homeruns for the weekend and finished the weekend with a team batting average of .380 and on base of .420. The Stars logged over 50 college coaches during the weekend.
	The Vienna Stars had a successful showing in California. The Stars went 4 – 1 – 1, scoring 44 runs and allowing only 6 runs. Due to the rain in California, their last game was rained out. The Stars logged over 50 college coaches during the cross country weekend.
	The 18U Gold Vienna Stars participated in the 2012 Team NJ October Fall Showcase on October 5-7 in Edison, NJ. This showcase is the most prestigious college showcase event on the east coast attracting 53 teams throughout the United States. Over 35 college coaches stopped by to watch the Stars go 5-1-1.
	The Fastpitch Scouting Report released their new National Player Rankings using their updated format and rating system. Three of the Top Ten unsigned players in the country belong to the 18U Gold Vienna Stars. Check it out here: http://fastpitchscoutingreport.com/?cat=55
	Congratulations to the 18U Vienna Gold Stars for winning their first three tournaments of the 2012 Fall season. The Stars won the USSSA Potomac River Clash by not allowing a single run to be scored against them. That's three straight tournaments without a loss!
	Congratulations to the 18U Gold Stars for winning their second consecutive First Responders Cup Championship by beating the Virginia Legends Elite 9-4 in Arlington, VA on 9/9/2012.
	Congratulations to Sarah Kurtz for verbally committing to the University of Iowa!
	The Vienna Stars 18U Gold team went 6 – 3 – 2 in the Louisville Slugger Independence Day Tournament in Boulder, CO. The Vienna Stars 18U Gold team had their best finish, finishing 17th out of 80 top teams. The Stars had a great following of College Coaches while in Boulder. 	CONGRATULATIONS to the 18U Gold Team for outscoring their opponents 32-12 with four wins in the Premier Girls Fastpitch Southeast Qualifier on June 17th in Woodstock, GA. This provides the Team a berth to the PGF National Tournament in Huntington Beach, CA! Qualifying Photo HERE!
