2010-2011 - TRYOUT INFORMATION

The Vienna Stars 18U Gold Team is the Washington DC area's premier elite travel fastpitch softball team. The Stars are looking for talented players that desire to play at the collegiate level.  We are looking for players with High School graduation dates of 2011 and 2012 and very select 2013 and 2014 graduates. The Vienna Stars organization is consistently invited to and participates in the nation’s leading college showcase tournaments across the country.  Our organization selects a customized seasonal schedule that presents our players with the best opportunites for playtime exposure with the nation’s leading college coaches.  These tournaments will include:

* Team NJ (Fall and Summer) - Edison, NJ
* Rising Stars (Fall and Winter) - Ft Lauderdale, FL
* Ronald McDonald – Houston, TX
* Sun Classic – Orlando, FL
* Independence Day – Boulder, CO

Our elite recruiting team researches before and during game play to match players with attending college coaches.  The Vienna Stars organization attracts, on average, over 50 college coaches per tournament. All of our 2010 players will be playing NCAA college softball.  If you desire to play at the highest levels, including qualifying and playing in ASA GOLD Nationals and Premier Girls Fastpitch (PGF) Nationals, then plan on attending our open softball tryout listed below. Date: Wednesday - August 11th  5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Date: Saturday - August 14th  5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Date: Sunday - August 15th  9:00 am – 1:00 pm

PRIVATE TRYOUTS:
If you are unable to attend the listed open tryouts and want to request an individual or confidential tryout, please email your player profile and availability to Coach Tony Rollins.  All confidentially requested tryouts will be respected and handled discretely.

All Vienna Stars players are expected to maintain a 3.0 GPA or better. Tryouts are free.
